ECPGLOBAL ACCREDITATION

To standardize specifications for the execution of tests executed in boxes and pallets tagged with EPC/RFID tags by laboratories around the world as well as to create a mechanism to audit and supply information about such laboratories, the EPCglobal community, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide the commercial adoption of Electronic Product Code (EPC) in the global supply chains, created the EPCglobal  Test Center Accreditation Program.

The EPCglobal Test Center Accreditation Program was developed to assess and evaluate the capabilities of testing facilities around the globe to perform tagged unit performance testing in a variety of real-world environments common with the supply chain.

The RFID Center of Excellence, in an unprecedented initiative, received from EPCglobal the Accreditation Mark and became the first laboratory in Brazil to be part of the Worldwide Network of Testing Centers with sites in Asia, Europe, and the United States.

The Accreditation Mark means that RFID Center of Excellence has successfully completed the EPCglobal Test Center Audit and that it uses a standard set of performance test profiles to simulate real-world conditions in testing the readability of end-user products that are tagged with the Electronic Product Code. Consequently, CoE is totally qualified to accomplish all currently available test scopes: Dynamic Conveyor Portal and Dynamic Dock Door Portal in accordance with the patterns established by EPCglobal.

This accreditation is a true testimony that RFID Center of Excellence is fully prepare to offer innovative solutions through tests in accordance to patterns established by EPCglobal, performed under real-world conditions.

  The certification of a testing facility at EPCglobal as an accredited test center allows end-users to identify quickly and more easily solution providers offering products and services in accordance to the highest international patterns.
  
  How to know which testing facilities is accredited
  Each performance test center accredited receives an EPCglobal  Test Center Accreditation Mark that is unique to their location and to the set of tests profiles performed. Each Accreditation Mark is unique and carries an 18-digit Global Service Relation Number that matches to the test center and the audit process for which they have met the specified criteria. The Test Center Accreditation Mark is awarded to a company for each site that successfully completes scope testing.
