COE TEST CENTER
The RFID Center of Excellence offers personalized solutions to improve supply chain
logistics. The RFID Center operates with up-to-date technology - that provides the
tracking of the product from the productive process to its delivery, going by transport,
maintenance, stock and discard – and a team highly specialized.
The RFID CoE is extremely qualified and since its foundation has been working on
the development and use of the RFID technology in the supply chain in a practical
and applied way. It is able to reproduce in its site the reality of an industrial
area, simulating the manufacturing process of equipment tagged with RFID as well
as its behavior in the productive environment. This helps customers to visualize
the possible RFID applications in their businesses and observe them in real market
conditions, since all RFID solutions can be tested before their implementation.
The RFID Center of Excellence offers a wide range of products and services in RFID,
in order to fulfill the most different needs of the market. It is totally qualified
to accomplish dock door portal tests, conveyor portal tests, tag readability tests,
stress of systems tests and tag optimum positioning tests under real-world conditions.
The activities of the COE - Center of Excellence in RFID rests on four pillars,
as follows:
Customer Experience – Helps customers to create and frame their
vision of RFID, trying advanced applications of the technology and generating a
vision of real applications for their strategic needs. It is a way of sharing with
customers the acquired knowledge and the best practices developed internally.
Application Lab – Build RFID adapted and personalized solutions
and to develop new applications.
Noise Lab – It is responsible for the simulation of different real
environments, hardware and software solution qualification and standards evaluation.
RFID for Future - Seeks the establishment of partnerships to discuss,
to analyze and to research the future of the technology RFID, as well as of new
application concepts.
