The only lab in Brazil aimed exclusively at studying the RFID technology, and certified by EPCglobal, the Center of Excellence in RFID has developed four training modules about this technology:  Case Studies & ROI for RFID, RFID Implementation, RFID Middleware and Preparation for CompTIA RFID+

Case Studies & ROI for RFID, in one day, offers to its participants a strategic orientation so they can manage the challenges of using RFID technology in a productive way, helping them to manage and make decisions during its adoption. With a many-sided content it covers themes related to the application of RFID in the industry and in retail, in Brazil and in the world, showing how it is possible to obtain a competitive edge and ROI with RFID.

RFID Implementation, is targeted to engineers and technical professionals involved in processes related to the development, implementation, and operation of RFID. During four days it provides the ideal grounds to professionals that require the technical knowledge in this specific area, enabling them to implement and use the technology in day-by-day operations. By means of theory and hands-on lessons the training enables experiencing the theoretical concepts, and focuses the technical aspects, the physical effects, and the criteria required to successfully apply RFID.

RFID Middleware has arisen from the need to offer a thorough vision of the RFID Middleware concepts, specifically to professionals requiring the understanding of which architecture, standards, and platforms are appropriate to the development of RFID applications. By the end of the course the professionals will be able to compare functionalities of different suppliers of middleware solutions; both from open and paid-for source, and will be able to decide which tools are more appropriate to their processes and the reality of their companies. Lasting two days the program also offers hands-on sessions involving the development of an application using a RFID middleware open-source implementation.

Preparation for CompTIA RFID+ developed for professionals requiring training in RFID together with an international certification. By means of a wide set of tests, discussed by a highly trained professional certified in RFID, the course presents topics covered by CompTIA RFID+ certification exam, providing participants the opportunity to be properly prepared to carry out an international certification. The course lasts two days, and includes a voucher for the CompTIA RFID+ certification exam.

The courses will be given in RFID CoE (Center of Excellence in RFID) premises in Sorocaba.

The Center of Excellence in RFID is also member of the RFID Community, a study group formed by renowned national and international universities, research centers, and companies, aimed at answering questions in this field and interested in the development of new applications to RFID technology. The relationship network enables accessing the most recent discoveries in the area of radio-frequency identification.

Whether through the courses, discussion forums, or workshops, RFID CoE is the connection of the client to which is the most advanced in terms of research, actively contributing to make its partners up to date with the last lines of the technology, with new concepts of its applications and its future trends.
